foot-and-mouth crisis is affecting
tourism, with much of Britain's
countryside cut off for fear of
spreading the disease.
If you were planning on a visit to the
British countryside, but are unsure
where you're allowed to go, you can
give the Ministry of Agriculture Food
and Fisheries a call on 0845 050 4141

Did your Grandpa go cruising?
If he did and it was on the maiden voyage of the Liner, Queen

Cunard who will be happy to sail him to New York on the QE2
for just £70
(The fare paid in 1936.) |

Hyde Park
Corner's Wellington Arch is opening to
the public for the first time on 4th
April. It offers a bird's-eye
view of London, and is available for

The Arch was formerly Britain's
smallest police station, but now it
boasts an exhibition on the Arch,
Marble Arch and London's memorials, as
well as a shop. |
