Jodi Hutton from Lutterworth in Leicestershire is looking forward with some trepidation to her part in a Bond style show that she is currently rehearsing in the South of France. It involves a cat fight with another girl and nifty foot work with some nimble Ninjas.

To be fair it is not a big movie production but one of the nightly shows staged by the eight strong entertainments company at the Haven Holiday Park at the Lac des Rêves, near Montpelier in the very warm Mediterranean sun.

Jodi, who recently finished a college course in the performing arts at Stratford on Avon is happy with this her first professional engagement. It also involves her in helping to run the Tiger Club for the 4 to 9 year olds while their parents relax.

She is the baby of the company but is already giving polished performances in their version of the musical “Grease” and a rather spooky Halloween production. In this she plays the parts of a witch and a scarecrow, neither of which do justice to her beauty.

One bonus of the work is being able to top up her suntan by the swimming pools or on Carnon Beach which is on the other side of the lake just three miles away by road.

The lake is a nature reserve so there is wildlife to view and at certain times the flamingos fly in.
